Grace + Daniel Wedding 7/14/2023

In the heat of July, a wedding unfolded at Margaret Place showcased the venue’s perfect balance of history, style, and New Orleans tradition. With fewer than 100 guests, the couple wanted something intimate, but still full of character. There was no need for excess; the setting spoke for itself, and the event moved with purpose.

The ceremony took place in the gazebo of our secluded courtyard. The quiet, lush space offered privacy and a distinctive atmosphere for the vows. Following the ceremony, the couple and guests participated in a second-line—a classic New Orleans tradition led by a brass band, winding through the streets to celebrate the newlyweds. The reception continued with the expected traditions: first dance, bouquet toss, and garter toss. It’s the kind of wedding that doesn’t try to be anything more than it needs to be—clean, focused, and beautifully executed.

Margaret Place delivered once again: a venue that allows elegance, tradition, and celebration to coexist without compromise
